Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

This policy covers the TILT game, on the web and in the iOS and Android apps. Codecrox operates TILT.

The short version: TILT is a game with a leaderboard. It stores what you score and, if you choose to sign in, an identifier for your account. There are no adverts, no analytics, and no third-party tracking of any kind.

What is collected

You can play without an account. Playing anonymously stores:

  • Your game record — best score, best time, longest tower, combos, perfect landings, runs played, coins earned and spent, and which themes you have unlocked.
  • An anonymous account identifier, created automatically so your record survives closing the app. It is not linked to you.

Signing in additionally stores:

  • Your email address, from the email, Google or Apple sign-in you chose. It is used to identify the account and nothing else. TILT never sends marketing email.
  • A display name, if you pick one. This is the only piece of your information that is shown to other people, and only on the world leaderboard beside your score. Choose a name you are happy to have seen.

What is not collected

  • No advertising identifiers, and no adverts.
  • No analytics or usage tracking.
  • No contacts, photos, location, microphone or camera access.
  • No payment details. Coins are earned by playing and cannot be bought.
  • Nothing is sold or shared with anyone for their own purposes.

Who processes it

  • Google Firebase Authentication handles sign-in and holds your email address. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Amazon Web Services hosts the game and its database, in the London (eu-west-2) region.

Both act as processors on our behalf. Neither is given your data for their own use.

How long it is kept

Your record is kept while the account exists. Delete the account and it goes — see below.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account and everything stored with it, in the app, from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent: the profile, the scores, the leaderboard entry and the claimed display name are all removed, and nothing is retained.

If you cannot reach the app, you can request deletion here.

Children

TILT is made for everyone, children included, and we follow the Google Play Families policy. The whole game is playable without an account, so a child can play all of it without giving us anything at all.

Before an account is offered, TILT asks what year you were born. It keeps only whether the answer was 13 or over — never the year itself.

  • Under 13: no account is offered and no email address is ever requested, so there is nothing for us to collect and nothing for a parent to consent to. Scores, coins and themes are saved on the device.
  • 13 and over: signing in is offered, and stores the email address and optional display name described above.

No part of TILT shows adverts, uses advertising identifiers, tracks behaviour, or sells or shares anything with anyone. That is true for every player, at every age.

The world leaderboard shows only a display name chosen by the player and a score. If you are a parent and would like a name removed, write to us and we will do it.

Your rights

If you are in the UK or the EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export or erase the information held about you, and to object to its processing. Deleting your account does all of this at once. For anything else, write to us.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be announced in the app.
